What is the most significant thing that has happened in your life over the past year?

My dad had a heart attack. Right when I was transferring to App, move in day, my dad had a heart attack. I was here moving my stuff in and he was in the hospital. 

What is something you have done recently that challenges your mindset or identity?e.

Fun fact about me, I am a Lesbian. I am in a Queer bubble, all of my friends are Queer. It is very refreshing and nice to be in that type of environment. I feel like being in this environment I am able to grow, explore myself, and explore the Queer community.

Is there any day that stands out as the worst day of your life?

There are a lot of bad things that I have been through. Most recently, experiencing my dad having a heart attack. It was a really hard time for me and my family. I had to reflect a lot on that and my complex relationship with my father. I have healed from it now, but it was very hard when it initially happened.

What has been the biggest turning point in your life?

Definitely right now. This is the first time living on my own, away from my family. It has been fun, but scary to accept this change. I am looking forward to it, I love it and I want to keep optimistic about it. I am excited to experience the new.

What are you most thankful for in life right now?

My friends. I love them, they make me happy.
