You're not gonna learn nothin here, girl!

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I won! I won $143,000. It is not winning the lottery by any stretch of the imagination, but I did win $143,000 and I retired. Then, I cashed in my kiwi saver, I went back to Scotland, did a cruise down the Mediterranean, went to the greek islands, and that is what I did with my $143,000 and kiwi saver. I have a little left and that is why I am retired.

What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?

My 20 year old self? Too late! 18 year old self, keep wanking. I am sorry, Ma’am. But I got married when I was 18. I was 15 when I had my first baby. Keep it in your pants. That’s my truth. I don’t have any regrets, but I have made mistakes and I have paid for them.

The thing is, today marriage is nothing. All it is is a piece of paper. Years ago, marriage was a Christian thing to do and a commitment. Marriage is a commitment.

All I can say is, truthfully, I think a lot of people when they are young, they fall in love with love. I think that is a mistake. You don’t know it, but you fall in love and think it is great, you have a family, shit happens, and next thing you know, you get separated and you love to hate each other.
